Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all water mitigation projects from first notice of loss through project completion.
- Manage day-to-day mitigation operations and emergency response activities.
- Monitor job progress, profitability, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and according to SERVPRO standards.
- Conduct jobsite inspections and audits to verify workmanship and compliance.
- Lead, coach, and develop Water Mitigation Technicians and Crew Chiefs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing training.
- Schedule crews, after-hours on-call rotations, and emergency response resources.
- Maintain accountability for productivity, safety, and quality expectations.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during mitigation projects.
- Build relationships with property owners, insurance adjusters, property managers, and facility managers.
- Communicate project timelines, expectations, and progress updates.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and positive online reviews.
- Manage multiple mitigation projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate equipment deployment and monitoring.
- Review moisture mapping, drying goals, psychrometric data, and project documentation.
- Ensure accurate job files, daily notes, and project records are maintained.
- Verify projects meet SERVPRO and insurance carrier requirements.
- Prepare and review mitigation estimates using Xactimate.
- Ensure all documentation supports billing and insurance carrier requirements.
- Review job costs and profitability.
- Track change orders and supplemental billing opportunities.
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and inventory records.
- Assist with relationship-building efforts among insurance agents, adjusters, commercial clients, and referral partners.
- Participate in networking events and community outreach initiatives.
- Promote SERVPRO Team Jones services to prospective clients.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and jobsite inspections.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain compliance with restoration industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in catastrophic event response when necessary.
