- Serve as the primary HR advisor to executive leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development
- Lead continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and systems to support scalability and efficiency
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, retention, performance trends) and present insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, client‑specific requirements, and industry standards
- Oversee bi‑weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Review and approve timecards, supplemental pay items, and payroll adjustments
- Audit payroll and benefit deductions, including new‑hire insurance setup and 401(k) contributions
- Resolve escalated payroll, benefits, and retirement plan questions from employees and managers
- Lead annual evaluation, negotiation, and implementation of Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans
- Manage 401(k) census reporting, compliance, and coordination with plan administrators
- Oversee benefits onboarding, qualifying life event changes, and termination processes
- Educate employees and managers on benefit offerings and ensure high‑quality service delivery
- Partner with department leaders to define hiring needs and staffing strategies
- Oversee resume sourcing, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- Approve and issue offer letters, ensuring compensation alignment and compliance
- Manage the full onboarding process, ensuring departmental checklists are completed and new hires are fully integrated
- Lead the employee evaluation process, ensuring consistent six‑month performance reviews
- Provide coaching to managers on performance management, corrective action, and employee engagement
- Oversee HR documentation, including doctor’s notes, compliance forms, and personnel records
- Manage unemployment claims, child support orders, and DOL interactions
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and recommend retention strategies
- Ensure timely completion of separation notices and offboarding procedures
- Maintain compliance with client‑required background check addendums
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records
- Oversee review of annual motor vehicle reports and ensure compliance with company driving standards
- Support internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
- Lead HR projects such as policy updates, handbook revisions, and system implementations
- 4–7+ years of progressive HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
- Experience supporting or leading HR functions in a fast‑paced operational environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution skills
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office
