Responsibilities
•Manage fleet capital and assets, including setting strategy, planning, implementation, supply chain analysis, reporting and communication
•Preparing and managing the annual fleet budget with Fleet Director ensuring its alignment with business plan objectives
•Lead continuous cost improvement, productivity management, and process improvement strategies that drive profitability
•Oversee collaboration with fleet maintenance providers to analyze historical data and determine long-term strategies
•Direct the strategic plan for fleet replacement using maintenance records and logistics requirements at the branch level
•Assess current fleet modules and data to establish new business requirements based on fleet strategies; recommend development and management of fleet systems
•Oversee capital expenditure functions through purchase order creation, delivery tracking, invoice processing, and updating budget reports
•Support maintenance and fuel operations to include performance, standards, and vendor management of outsourced maintenance and fuel solutions
•Work closely with all appropriate parties to ensure annual driver MVR process is complete
•Monitor regional regulatory compliance and company safety performance
•Assist in maintaining vehicle compliance items such as renewals, registrations, titles, and other compliance items
•Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
•3+ years of demonstrated management experience in a fleet, warehouse or distribution environment
•Valid state motor vehicle operators license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance in accordance with State laws
•Experience with having P&L responsibility, owning and managing budgets and ability to create and maintain various management reports
•In depth knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office software
•Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
•Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation, persuasion and communications skills
•Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements
•Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
•Experience in using in Fleetio a plus
•Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
•Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
•May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 150lbs
