We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Director of Sales and Business Development to join our team. As a valued SERVPRO® franchise employee, you will receive a competitive pay rate, with the opportunity to learn and grow.

Position Summary: SERVPRO Team Shaw is actively looking for a Director of Sales and Business Development. This person will be responsible for providing support to our outside sales team and clients directly. The ideal candidate will possess a self-motivated attitude while looking to grow a career with a privately held company. This position will determine decision making structure and grow relevant relationships with existing MSA clients for the sole purpose driving revenue growth. Ideal candidates will have existing relationships within the verticals of Multifamily, Commercial Real Estate, Student Housing, Hospitality and Sr. Living Facilities. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess existing MSA client structure and develop specific plan for maximizing revenue 
  • Collaborate with teams when appropriate for executing client strategies 
  • Travel as necessary to forge relationships with key client decision makers 
  • Manage, track and report on all prospecting activities using Sales Force 
  • Develop and maintain territory plans with assigned field sales rep 
  • Participate in standing Business Development and SERVPRO company meetings 
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
Experience: 
  • Established client base in verticals; Multifamily, Commercial Real Estate, Student Housing, Sr. Living Facilities and Hospitality groups 
  • 5-10 years minimum sales experience 
  • Proven sales experience with the development of new and existing client base 
 Knowledge and Skills: 
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic 
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills 
  • Sales Force experience is a plus 
  • Capacity to understand technology services and solutions 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Analytical skills to understand the business model and how financial performance relates to and impacts the team 
Physical & Mental Abilities Required
  • Physical: The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, climb stairs, use hands and arms, talk or hear, drive a car, and use basic office electronics (computer, telephone)
  • Mental: critical thinking, judgment, decision-making, follow-up, social awareness, mathematics, reading, writing, organizational, timeliness, stress tolerance, communication (oral and written)
Work Environment & Travel
  • Up to 25% of the job involves on-site meetings with Clients. Up to 50% of time spent on paperwork, reports, etc.   
  • Must be able to stand all day, walk stairs and other physical related tasks and demands.
  • Routine vehicle travel within the local geographic service area.

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
