Water Restoration Supervisor
Position Summary
The Water Restoration Supervisor is responsible for managing and completing restoration projects in accordance with SERVPRO® processes and work orders. This role oversees job execution from initial response through completion, ensuring quality, safety, documentation accuracy, customer satisfaction, and cost control. The Supervisor leads Production Technicians, coordinates job requirements, and serves as the primary point of contact for customers, including residential, commercial, and insurance partners.
Key Responsibilities
Job & Project Management
- Manage and monitor assigned jobs from start to finish, ensuring compliance with SERVPRO® standards and company procedures
- Respond promptly to service calls and establish efficient job flow on-site
- Coordinate job requirements, resources, timelines, and labor needs
- Manage job file documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updates
- Monitor and control production costs to meet project budgets
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Communicate clear expectations to Production Technicians and supervise daily activities
- Ensure production work is completed as scheduled and meets quality standards
- Resolve job-site issues quickly and effectively as they arise
- Promote accountability, productivity, and professionalism within the team
Customer Experience & Communication
- Explain restoration processes and answer customer questions as needed
- Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs or concerns to ensure satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and insurance customers
Safety & Compliance
- Identify safety hazards and implement appropriate control measures
- Enforce all safety procedures to protect occupants, employees, and job sites
- Ensure proper use and care of equipment, materials, and company assets
Facilities, Equipment & Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas
- Protect and properly use all company equipment and materials
Sales & Marketing Support
- Participate in sales and marketing activities, including add-on services and security checks
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer value and job scope when appropriate
Qualifications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in cleaning/restoration required

IICRC certifications required
- Ability to travel locally or out of state as business needs require
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Exposure to chemicals and restoration environments
- Ability to walk, stand, drive, sit, climb, and work for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., crawl spaces)
- Ability to perform repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying tasks
