SERVPRO Team Wilson is looking for an experienced, dependable Mold Remediation Supervisor to lead mold remediation projects from initial setup through completion. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands restoration work, can lead technicians in the field, and takes pride in completing jobs safely, efficiently, and professionally.
The Mold Supervisor will work directly with project management and field technicians to ensure each project follows SERVPRO standards, proper remediation procedures, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise mold remediation projects in residential and commercial properties
- Direct technicians and assign daily job-site responsibilities
- Perform hands-on remediation work alongside the team when needed
- Set up and maintain containment and negative-air environments
- Properly operate air scrubbers, HEPA vacuums, dehumidifiers, and other remediation equipment
- Perform selective demolition and removal of affected drywall, insulation, flooring, and other materials
- Ensure proper PPE and safety procedures are followed on every project
- Monitor job progress and communicate updates to Project Managers and Operations leadership
- Document job-site conditions, work performed, equipment, and project progress
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and other customers
- Train, coach, and develop Mold Technicians
- Ensure equipment and company vehicles are properly maintained and accounted for
- Respond to emergency restoration needs, including occasional after-hours and weekend work
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Previous mold remediation, water mitigation, environmental remediation, or restoration experience
- Previous experience leading or supervising technicians
- Knowledge of containment, negative air, HEPA filtration, demolition, and remediation procedures
- IICRC certifications such as AMRT and/or WRT
- Experience working for SERVPRO or another restoration company
- OSHA, HAZWOPER, asbestos, or other environmental/safety training
- Experience documenting restoration projects
Required:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, confined areas, and potentially contaminated environments
- Ability to lift and carry restoration equipment and building materials
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to participate in an on-call or emergency-response schedule when needed

Compensation
Competitive hourly or salaried compensation based on restoration experience, certifications, and leadership background.
