Position Type: Full-Time | Entry-Level Sales
- Conduct daily face-to-face prospecting and door-to-door sales activities throughout the assigned territory.
- Introduce SERVPRO’s emergency restoration and reconstruction services to local businesses, property owners, property managers, and other potential referral partners.
- Monitor and track reported fire, water, and property-loss events throughout the New Orleans Metro and Slidell areas.
- Respond promptly to identified sales opportunities by visiting affected locations and connecting with appropriate decision-makers.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen professional relationships through consistent visits, marketing calls, and follow-up communication.
- Generate qualified leads and help convert opportunities into new projects and customer relationships.
- Use company marketing and customer relationship management software (Salesforce) to document daily activities, contacts, leads, and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of fire and water losses, prospect visits, referrals, and follow-up activities.
- Provide management with regular updates regarding sales activity, opportunities, market conditions, and territory performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Previous sales, customer service, canvassing, hospitality, or business development experience is helpful but not required.
- Comfortable conducting door-to-door outreach and initiating conversations with new people.
- Confident, professional, persistent, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Strong follow-up, organization, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn SERVPRO’s services, sales processes, and customer relationship management systems.
- Ability to use a smartphone, email, mapping applications, and basic business software.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

The compensation listed on this job posting includes base plus commission and can exceed that amount depending on the revenue from jobs generated by the sales associate.
