- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
- Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a service industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
