Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the activities of our residential restoration and renovating projects from start to finish.
- Evaluate damage scope and prepare accurate bids and estimates for home construction or renovation projects utilizing proprietary software.
- Consult with customers, insurance adjusters, and engineers regarding restoration plans, specifications, and project approvals.
- Select, hire, and supervise trade subcontractors to do specialized work, such as plumbing, heating, electrical, and drywall repair during the reconstruction phase.
- Plan and prepare work schedules and co-ordinate the daily activities of internal restoration crews and external subcontractors.
- Inspect work performed by crews and subcontractors to ensure quality and conformity with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade subcontractors for necessary restoration materials and equipment.
- May perform light demolition, mitigation, or other trade work during home construction or renovation activities when required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the restoration, home building, or renovation industry is required. Previous experience in supervising crews or project management is an asset.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
