Experience Requirement
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in contents manipulation, pack-out, and pack-back services
- Prior experience with SERVPRO or another professional restoration company (fire, water, mold) is strongly preferred
- Perform detailed pack-out, inventory, cleaning, storage, and pack-back of customer contents.
- Perform content pack-out services to safely remove and store items from affected properties.
- Conduct thorough cleaning and restoration of contents, including upholstery and textiles.
- Assess and document the condition of items before and after cleaning.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment to ensure high-quality results.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns and provide updates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Properly handle, wrap, label, and document personal property using industry standards
- Safely manipulate furniture, electronics, textiles, and fragile items
- Maintain accurate inventory records (manual and/or digital systems)
- Load and unload contents trucks efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety, cleaning, and restoration protocols
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence in customer homes
- Proven experience with contents cleaning methods (dry cleaning, wet cleaning, specialty items)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, climb, and work in physically demanding environments
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or on-call when needed
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- SERVPRO certification(s) or equivalent restoration training
- Experience with contents management software (e.g., DASH, Encircle, or similar)
- IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, OCT, or CCT) a plus
- Leadership or crew-lead experience is a bonus
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers
- Demonstrate reliability, integrity, and respect for customer property
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in restoration or cleaning preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Certification in water damage restoration or related fields is a plus.
