🔥💧 Now Hiring: Disaster Response Technician (Fire & Water Restoration)

This is not a desk job. This is hands-on, physical work in real-world emergency conditions.

SERVPRO® Team Carpenter is expanding our Fire & Water Division and is looking for reliable, physically capable technicians who can perform under pressure and take pride in tough work done right.

🧠 What This Job Really Is
You will be responding to fire, water, and emergency loss sites—often while properties are damaged, wet, smoky, or unsafe. This role requires:
  • Physical labor every day
  • Working in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas
  • Lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials
  • Wearing PPE and respirators when required
  • Following strict safety and documentation procedures
This is not janitorial work and not general construction—it’s skilled restoration work that requires consistency and accountability.

🧰 Core Responsibilities
  • Set up and break down fire & water restoration job sites
  • Operate drying, extraction, and cleaning equipment
  • Perform demolition and material removal as needed
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew members
  • Follow safety protocols and job documentation requirements
🚗 Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Applicants must meet all of the following:
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
  • Comfortable working on ladders, in attics, crawlspaces, and damaged structures
  • Willing to work in dirty, wet, smoky, or uncomfortable environments
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Strong attendance and punctuality history
