We are seeking a Lead Restoration Technician at SERVPRO to oversee restoration projects, guide a small team of technicians, and ensure exceptional results in water mitigation and reconstruction. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and communicates effectively with clients and teammates.

Lead Mitigation Efforts:
- Perform and oversee water extraction, drying, and mold remediation per IICRC S500 standards (e.g., Job #124 - residential kitchen flood).
- Operate equipment (e.g., pumps, dehumidifiers, air movers) and take moisture readings.
- Train and supervise 1-2 technicians on mitigation tasks, ensuring OSHA-compliant safety (e.g., PPE usage).

Support Reconstruction:
- Assist with minor reconstruction tasks (e.g., drywall cutting, framing prep) under the Reconstruction Project Manager.

Photo Documentation:
- Capture and upload 5-10 high-resolution photos per phase (before, during, after) to WorkCenter, labeled (e.g., “Job #124 - 7/16/2025 - Pre-mitigation, kitchen”).
- Ensure photos meet SERVPRO and insurance audit standards.

Dash and WorkCenter Workflows:
- Receive work orders via Dash mobile app; update job status (e.g., “Extraction Complete”) in “Jobs” tab.
- Log task notes and photos in WorkCenter > “Job #124” > “Notes” and “Photos” tabs.

Client and Team Communication:
- Interact with clients during site visits, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction (Hickory’s customer focus).
- Coordinate with Office Manager, Mitigation Project Manager, Reconstruction Project Manager, and Estimator for seamless job execution.

Emergency Response:
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for emergencies (e.g., storm damage), responding within 1 hour.
- Document emergency work in WorkCenter with photos and notes.

Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to SERVPRO Job File Audit Checklist.
- Maintain accurate job file documentation (e.g., moisture logs, work authorizations).
Qualifications

Experience and Skills:
- 2+ years in restoration or construction (water mitigation experience preferred).
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months (reimbursement provided).
- Proficiency with restoration equipment (e.g., moisture meters, dehumidifiers).
- Basic carpentry skills (e.g., drywall cutting) for reconstruction support.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided for work).
Compensation: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
