Key Responsibilities

  • Emergency Response: Quickly respond to water damage emergencies, including floods, leaks, and other water-related disasters.
  • Restoration Procedures: Execute water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and sanitization and fire and soot clean up using state-of-the-art equipment and methods. 
  • Material Removal: Safely remove and/or clean damaged materials like carpeting, drywall, flooring, structure and contents to facilitate restoration.
  • Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in water damage restoration preferred.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in fire and water damage restoration or similar industry experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry-standard equipment and hand and power tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Licensing: Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position with standard hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, along with on-call responsibilities. During periods of high demand, extended hours and additional workdays may be necessary to meet customer needs. This role often requires working more than 8 hours a day, including some evenings and weekends. Travel is primarily local, though occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be required. 
Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
