Join SERVPRO of Wilson County as a Warehouse and Maintenance Technician and become part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact in our community every day. In this multifaceted role, you will support our mission to help customers recover from fire, water, and other property damage by ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and our equipment and facilities are well maintained. 

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Manage the organization, cleanliness, and inventory of our warehouse, including receiving and dispatching restoration equipment and supplies.  
  • Accurately count, track, and manage inventory, identify purchasing needs and ensure adequate stock levels. 
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office products (Excel), Word, Outlook) for inventory tracking, reporting, and communication. 
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tools, vehicles, and facility systems to ensure all equipment is ready for rapid deployment to job sites. 
  • Support restoration crews by preparing equipment, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining safety standards throughout the warehouse and facility. 
  • Assist with general facility upkeep, including cleaning, organizing, and minor building repairs as needed. 
  • Adhere to all safety and risk management guidelines and assist with end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup to maintain a professional appearance at all times. 
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), and ensure all equipment is in good working condition. 
  • Performing additional duties as needed.

Education and Experience:
 
  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Valid driver’s license required. 
  • Comfort and proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and warehouse management systems preferred.  
  • Experience in cleaning, restoration, construction, warehouse operations, or equipment maintenance is preferred. 
  • Forklift operator certification is a plus. 
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and oral communication abilities are essential. 
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance; ability to work in tight spaces, at heights, and with/around cleaning agents. 

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
 
This position entails mostly working in a warehouse environment; however, occasional errands to suppliers and jobsites are expected. Occasional jobsite activities may involve lifting 50 pounds independently, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, utilizing forklifts, pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects, and working around chemicals.

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours: 
This is a full-time position working [10AM-6:30PM], Monday-Friday. 
Occasional overtime, weekends and nights on occasion based on business need.  




Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
