SERVPRO Team Fletcher in Pekin, IL, has an opening for a Paid Internship for current college students studying for a career in Project Management or Construction Management. SERVPRO of Peoria performs damage restoration for homes and businesses impacted by water, fire, mold, or other disasters. Clean-up and reconstruction are all part of our ability to help people recover from disaster situations. Primary Responsibilities

Shadow various department personnel to learn functions in Mitigation, Construction, Office, HR, and Accounting
Perform on-line training and hands-on tasks to learn mitigation and restoration processes
Learn and use technology platforms for job processes and documentation such as photos, sketches, and estimates
Complete assigned job tasks under supervision

Education and Experience Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's Degree program candidates preferred
Knowledge of Residential or Commercial construction preferred
Within 18 months of degree completion
Effective written and oral communication skills
Advanced math skills
Must have good driving record

Schedule and Working Conditions

Schedule is flexible dependent on school schedule. Monday through Friday schedules available between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm.
Part-time position during school terms. Summer term can be full-time, if desired.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds individually and up to 100 pounds team lift.
Must be able to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, carry, climb stairs, and work at ceiling height.
This position will be a combination of field learning on working job sites and in-office learning. Locations may be exposed to noise, hot or cold temperatures, wet environments, and soot/smoke/mold environments. Protective equipment is provided by company.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
