We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Employee to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of the premises, vehicles, and grounds while performing a variety of maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with general maintenance, landscaping, vehicle care, and basic repair tasks. Attention to detail, time management, and a commitment to quality work are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

 

General Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building facilities, equipment, and systems.

Conduct inspections to identify and address issues with plumbing, electrical systems, or other facility-related equipment.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.

 

Yard and Grounds Maintenance

Mow lawns, trim bushes, and maintain landscaping to ensure the property is clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Remove debris, leaves, and trash from outdoor spaces.

Perform seasonal maintenance, such as snow removal or watering plants as needed.

 

Vehicle Maintenance and Cleaning

Wash, clean, and detail company vehicles to maintain their appearance.

Perform routine vehicle checks, such as monitoring tire pressure, oil levels, and fluid levels.

Report any vehicle maintenance needs or malfunctions to the supervisor.

 

Equipment and Tool Management

Safely operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment required for tasks.

Ensure all tools and equipment are stored securely and in good working condition.

 

Safety and Compliance

Follow all safety guidelines and company policies during maintenance tasks.

Identify and mitigate potential hazards in work areas.

Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Proven experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a similar role.

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.

Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform manual labor, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Skills and Competencies

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective time management to prioritize multiple tasks.

Work Environment

Outdoor and indoor work environments with exposure to weather, dirt, and noise.

May require occasional weekend or evening availability depending on the needs of the business.
