- Create an annual marketing plan in conjunction with and for the approval of the general manager;
- Assign territories/customers/verticals to SMRs to ensure targeted sales efforts without friction or overlap.
- Analyze sales performance and market data to identify gaps, opportunities and areas for improvement;
- Track and report revenue and commission information to GM;
- Ensure all marketing activity is appropriately documented.
- Coach and develop the sales and marketing team;
- Perform regular appraisals of SMRs and report findings back to GM.
- Take ownership of large/major accounts when appropriate;
- Represent company at events, including outside of standard work hours when necessary.
- Five + years sales, marketing, or customer service experience, with demonstrated history of sales ability and growth
- Experience in building a strong team with tangible leadership skills
- Ability to meet people in new or difficult situations and build rapport
- Experience in service sales, especially in the industries defined above, a plus
- Experience with professional sales or marketing associations a plus
