Summary 
The Equipment and Supplies Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and managing equipment and supplies for fire, water, biohazard, and mold remediation services. This role requires a highly organized individual who can respond swiftly to major storm events and large loss needs by ensuring that our teams are fully equipped to handle various remediation needs. Some tasks include actively managing inventory of equipment and supplies, maintaining and repairing equipment, tracking assets, cleaning machinery, operating forklifts, ensuring DOT compliance for large trailers, and maintaining large loss trailers and large and small generators. You may be required to supervise temporary workers and team members to ensure all tasks related to equipment and supply requests are completed accurately and timely.

Responsibilities
Equipment and Supplies Management
  • Oversee the inventory, maintenance, and organization of all remediation equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Track usage and ensure that equipment is in optimal working condition, scheduling regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Manage ordering and restocking of supplies to ensure that all necessary materials are available for daily operations and emergency response.
Warehouse Operations
  • Oversee warehouse teams, providing direction and training to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery, with the capability of obtaining a forklift certification if not already certified.
Emergency Response
  • Be on call to respond to major storm events and large loss situations, ensuring that equipment and supplies are dispatched quickly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to provide logistical support during emergencies, including the transportation of equipment to affected sites.
Transportation and Compliance
  • Safely operate large trailers and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain records of equipment transportation, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in training and supporting the team on proper trailer loading, unloading, and securing techniques.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade certifications are a plus.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field, preferably in a remediation or restoration industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and experience in operating large trailers is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including being on-call for emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience supervising a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, operate machinery, and perform manual labor as required.
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
