- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple mitigation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Site Assessments: Conduct site visits to evaluate conditions, identify mitigation needs, and develop tailored strategies based on local regulations and environmental impact assessments.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with local teams, contractors, and stakeholders to implement mitigation measures effectively and ensure communication across all levels.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress, findings from site assessments, and compliance status to management and regulatory bodies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to projects and develop mitigation plans to address these risks proactively.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to local teams on best practices for environmental mitigation and safety procedures.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing project budgets and monitor expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental mitigation, project management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in various locations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively, sometimes on short notice.
- Professional certification is required (WRT, ASD, AMRT, Xactimate 2 Certification)
- Experience in a water restoration related to mitigation efforts.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- This position requires frequent travel, including overnight stays, and the ability to work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate project timelines and travel schedules.
