Summary
We are looking for a Restoration Warehouse Manager who is mechanically inclined and can assist with maintaining our Equipment and Vehicle Fleet.  Besides supervising staff, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for material and equipment-related distribution procedures.
 
Primary Responsibilities
·         Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.
·         Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. 
·         Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems. 
·         Maintains physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing a cleaning schedule. 
·         Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances. 
·         Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling time appropriately. 
·         Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. 
 
Education and Experience Requirements
·         High school diploma or equivalent 
·         State driver’s license with satisfactory DMV driving record 
·         Minimum of 2 years as a warehouse manager 
·         Experience operating a forklift
 
Qualifications and Skills 
·         Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work 
·         Proficient with computers and knowledge of general software and applications 
·         Effective oral and written communication skills 
·         Strong leadership and management skills 
·         Understanding of safety rules 
·         Mechanically inclined
 
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
·         Walking and/or standing throughout the day
·         Exposed to high noise levels in the warehouse 
·         Occasionally climbing ladders
·         Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat or cold

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
 
This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local.
