Position Type: Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and some weekends when needed.  Overtime opportunities.
 
Status: Hourly 
 
Summary: The Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor’s purpose is to ensure the proper operating of the shop.  This includes being a resource for staff and guests seeking direction or assistance in the shop.  The Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor’s responsibility is to maintain the shop facilities inside and outside the building, including parking lot and lawncare. Responsible for routine vehicle maintenance and scheduling repairs with outside repair shops. Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor will maintain all equipment, tools and supplies and complete proper inventory on these items.     
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1.       Adheres to Servpro’s values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, company policies and operating procedures.
2.       Performs monthly preventive maintenance and inspections on all major facility equipment within one or more facilities.
3.        Apply skills, experience and general knowledge to a wide range of complex tasks to troubleshoot (including electrical, mechanical issues with production operations equipment), adjust, install, repair, dissemble, replace, and reassemble and maintain equipment or facilities.
4.       Works with outside contractors, when necessary, which may include procuring parts and services.
5.       Monthly equipment, tool and consumables inventory including documenting and reporting loss.
6.       Routine maintenance on vehicles, truck mount and trailers and scheduling other repairs with locally selected repair shop. 
7.       Ordering supplies as needed through corporate vendor and local vendor shops. 
8.       Moving vaults with forklifts as needed.  
9.       May assist other departments and engineers with facility and mechanical tasks.
10.    Investigates, develops, and implements new process technologies of small to moderate scope.
11.    Devises new solution to problems encountered
12.    Work independently to perform and complete assigned work orders in a timely manner
13.    Perform training of technicians on tools and equipment
14.    General maintenance of parking lot and sidewalks, including snowplowing and shoveling.
15.    Performs all general maintenance functions.
 

 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

·         Ability to motivate others to improve and promote acceptance, awareness, effectiveness and results of the Employee Safety Program.
·         Willingness to take initiative and work effectively without close supervision, maintain accuracy and quantity of work under pressure of changing priorities, and adaptable and flexible with change.  
·         Assist with new hire orientation with orienting new employees to shop and vehicle protocol. 

Required Qualifications

·         High school degree or equivalent required
·         2-3 years previous Facilities/maintenance experience
·         General vehicle maintenance experience required
 
 
Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
