Job Overview:

As the Restoration Contents Project Manager, you will lead the team responsible for assessing, documenting, packing, transporting, cleaning, and restoring clients' personal belongings and valuable items. Your role will involve coordinating the contents restoration process, ensuring meticulous attention to detail, and collaborating with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to facilitate the successful restoration of contents to pre-loss conditions.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of contents restoration technicians and coordinators to execute efficient and effective contents restoration processes.
  • Conduct thorough inventories and documentation of damaged contents, ensuring accurate records are maintained for insurance purposes.
  • Assess the condition of items to determine the appropriate cleaning and restoration methods.
  • Develop comprehensive contents restoration plans, including item prioritization, cleaning procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate the safe and proper packing, transportation, and storage of contents to and from the restoration facility.
  • Oversee the cleaning, deodorization, and restoration of various items, including but not limited to clothing, electronics, documents, furniture, and sentimental valuables.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide updates on the status of their items and address any concerns they may have.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, contractors, and other relevant parties to ensure a smooth restoration process.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that restored items meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Train and mentor contents restoration team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new cleaning techniques, and equipment to enhance the contents restoration process.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in contents restoration or related fields are a plus.
  • Previous experience in contents restoration, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, insurance professionals, and team members.
  • Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, equipment, and restoration products.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using technology for inventory tracking and documentation.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when required, especially during peak restoration periods.
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
