Position Summary
The Contents and Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for tracking and documenting all aspects of the contents handling and processing on a project. This supervisor will manage teams within the structure/project and audit documentation and reports and provide them daily for the project file.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluates all content inventory related activities for the commercial project.
Supervises the documentation of all content inventory within the structure.
Supervises individuals involved with content inventory.
Tracks the progress of all contents through the moving, cleaning or deodorization process.
Documents all non-salvageable contents within the commercial project.
Reports to the APM on the daily activities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to successfully fulfill the major duties and responsibilities above. Some key requirements to fulfill the position may include, but not be limited to:
- Demonstrated ability to manage and work with other people.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with others, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner. Multi or Bi-lingual language skills are preferred but not required.
- Intermediate problem-solving skills.
- Detailed oriented with respect to the documentation of all contents.
- Intermediate organizational skills.
- Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
- Should attain the OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training certification.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
Fast-paced, high pressure work environment.
Shift hours may vary depending on the size and scope of the project but will typically consist of eight (8) to ten (10) hour shifts.
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time with approximately sixty percent (60%) of the time evaluating the progress of the site by conducting site walk throughs.
Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
