Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Work closely with warehouse associates to prioritize the following tasks:
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently
- Manually move boxes and furniture in a quick and efficient method
- Utilize tracking system to account for all customer contents, train and ensure employees use scanning platforms correctly
- Establish and maintain an effective flow of contents through cleaning room/ ozone room
- Receive and disseminate contents to their designated storage locations.
- Properly pad and protect warehouse contents to prevent breakage or damage.
- Conduct routine maintenance of the facility including grounds cleanup, general cleaning of the facility, general cleaning of the company fleet, and organization and cleaning equipment
- Supervision of movers, and ensure items are not damaged. Report any damage immediately to Management
- Communicate with managers and co-workers in a professional manner
- Comply with company processes and policies
- Maintain and commit to proper vault organizational layout.
- Keep cleanliness a priority, complete daily housekeeping, and emphasize amongst personnel.
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to take direction from the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager
- Must be able to perform frequent and routine heavy lifting (50+ lbs)
- Forklift experience
- Warehousing experience
- Warehouse supervision experience
- Experience handling goods, products, furniture, etc.
- Ability to understand scanning functionality and scanning equipment.
- Supervise and provide feedback to warehouse associates
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma/GED
- Frequent walking and/or standing throughout the day. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme temperature and noise level conditions.
