Position Summary
The Contents and Cleaning Tech is responsible for tracking and documenting all aspects of the contents handling and processing on a restoration project. This includes the pack-out portion of a job, cleaning of contents and put-back of contents.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
*Content inventory related activities for the commercial/residential project.
*Document all content inventory within the structure.
*Works on contents through the moving, cleaning or deodorization process.
*Documents all non-salvageable contents within the commercial project.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to successfully fulfill the major duties and responsibilities above. Some key requirements to fulfill the position may include, but not be limited to:
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with others, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner. Multi or Bilingual language skills are preferred but not required.
- Detailed oriented with respect to the documentation of all contents.
- Intermediate organizational skills.
- Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
- Should attain the OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training certification.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
* Fast-paced, high pressure work environment.
* Shift hours may vary depending on the size and scope of the project but will typically consist of eight (8) to ten (10) hour shifts.
* Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
* Ability to travel locally when necessary.
