In this role, the successful individual will assist the General Manager with accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities for a multi-franchise residential and commercial mitigation business.
Key Responsibilities
- This position will be responsible for providing full bookkeeping functions to ensure the efficient operation of the Finance Department
- Posting of all payments daily received for open A/R invoices
- Reviewing A/R and reporting weekly to management on potential account issues and projections for future collections
- Scan, review for accuracy, post and file all vendor/subcontractor bills daily
- Scan receipts and post all credit card charges and expenses to the correct general ledger accounts in QBO every month
- Scan all invoices and attach in QuickBooks for paperless review and documentation
- Assist in creating processes to enhance reporting and reconciliation QBO
- Post all royalty expenses
- Ensure that purchase orders match service receipts or invoices by reviewing the quantities and total price
- Track and enter sales and marketing lead fees
- Setup new vendors, collect COIs and W9s from vendors
- Provide W-9 and 1099 information as needed
- Back-up support and generate Servpro invoices in QuickBooks Online that match estimates
- Back-up support and allocate the correct tax rates to line items on the invoices
- Assist with tracking all billed and revised invoice totals daily on an ongoing basis
- Review and confirm expense reports and other check requests
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure AP bills are current and accurate
- Reconcile all credit card statements
- Assist with month-end closing
- Filing and other duties as assigned
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned and requested by management
