SERVPRO of Winchester is Hiring a Mold Production Technician!

Are you looking for a fulfilling career in the restoration industry? SERVPRO of Winchester is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mold Production Technician to join our team. As a Mold Production Technician, you will play a vital role in our mold remediation projects, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and efficient work to help our clients restore their properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory and Vehicle Management:
    • Inventory and load the work vehicle with necessary equipment, products, and supplies.
    • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and ensure clean equipment appearance.

  • Work Site Preparation and Production:
    • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, including setting up staging areas and equipment.
    • Perform mold remediation processes as directed, adhering to safety and risk management guidelines.
    • Communicate with the crew chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
    • Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup, ensuring the job site is left clean and orderly.

  • Warehouse and Equipment Management:
    • Maintain an organized warehouse space, including cleaning and maintaining the warehouse, office, and grounds.
    • Develop expertise in mold remediation services, cleaning products, and equipment.
    • Perform other tasks and duties as required by the employer.
Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • IICRC certifications in mold remediation preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong work ethic and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects and work with/around cleaning agents.
