- The set-up and take-down of equipment including: hanging plastic sheeting, setting up ladders, wet/dry vacuums, pre-sprayers, garden hoses, and high-pressure hoses
- Pre-scraping greasy buildup from affected areas of kitchen exhaust systems
- Pressure washing the interior of kitchen exhaust systems (fans, ducts, and hoods)
- Final clean-up in kitchens by wiping down the hoods, mopping up the floors, etc.
- Digital photography of all work performed at each job
- Independent completion of work projects with limited supervision
- Reporting mechanical deficiencies of customer and/or company equipment to management
- Maintaining the cleanliness of company tools, equipment, and vehicles each night
- Valid driver’s license
- Have a good driving record that passes our insurance company’s requirements.
- Be willing to drive a full-size company van if needed
- Have a working cell phone and respond promptly to all calls from management
- Have a professional appearance
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Be dependable; able to show up on time, read and follow instructions
- Be physically fit; able to climb ladders, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at times
- Have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work quickly and efficiently
- Be able to work flexible hours; nights, early mornings, and some weekends
- Be able to work safely in both hot, cold, and/or inclement weather
- Be able to complete work projects from start to finish with limited supervision
- Be able to learn new procedures quickly to assist with the exhaust cleaning process
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
