The suitable candidate needs to have strong communication skills, ability to work in, and help people through, challenging situations, and be customer service oriented as our main task each day is to assist customers, who may be experiencing a flood of emotions, and are depending on us to turn back the tide of uncertainty. Our cleaning team mobilizes to homes or businesses that need to be packed and moved out so that restoration can begin. The packed content is then brought to our warehouse where it will be cleaned, deodorized, and stored until the restoration process is complete. The team also mobilizes to clean structures that have experienced a fire, water, or mold damage. They also perform general and routine cleanings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Pack out and inventory customers contents to clean and store in house.
- High detail clean of customer's contents and rooms.
- Obtain proper documentation of dirty, damaged, and cleaned contents.
- Pack back customer's contents to home in proper rooms.
- Perform production processes as directed, including: fire and water cleanup, general cleaning, smoke damage/odor removal, and mold damage cleaning; following SERVPRO production guidelines per work order and crew chief.
- Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns).
- Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
- Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver's license
- Effective oral communication
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening
