SERVPRO of South Charlotte Restoration Supervisor / Crew Chief
                 
The Restoration Supervisor / Crew Chief prescribes, coordinates, controls, and performs work activities on restoration projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the crew chief demonstrates to customers and clients the company’s Here to Help® commitment. Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction
  • Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities 
  • Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control - this is a labor intensive position  
  • Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers. Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times
  • Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided 
  • Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects. Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.  
  • Water, fire, mold, biohazard cleanup
  • Extraction, demo, monitoring, equipment placement, carpet cleaning, mold remediation
Position Requirements
  • Effective written and oral communication with basic math and tablet skills needed
  • Experience in cleaning/restoration is necessary
  • IICRC certifications preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
 Pay rate based on experience and certifications. Majority of hours will be Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5pm. However, some evening, night and weekend work is required as we are on-call 24/7 for emergency losses. Bonuses provided for on-call weeks. Overtime will be required as needed. Increases based on merit.
   
 
Compensation: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
