Job Description:
As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for managing and controlling all SERVPRO® warehouse related activities. You will oversee warehouse planning and facility maintenance while following and enforcing all safety procedures on the facility and/or job site.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs
Plan and organize materials and items in the warehouse, including inventory tasks
Handle and execute shipping operations
Maintain, clean and repair assets for use in the warehouse and field
Maintain, clean and organize the warehouse, grounds, restrooms, hallways and offices as assigned
Oversee facility maintenance
Ensure clear two-way communication with operations manager, production managers, office team, crew chiefs, and production technicians
Continue development of production skills and expertise of services, cleaning products and equipment knowledge
Manage equipment, product and supplies
Understand and utilize all safety and risk management guidelines in the warehouse, in the office, on the grounds, on a job site, and while traveling
Organize warehouse and keep everything in its place
Take initiative on what needs to be done without being told
Identify products/items that need to be ordered
Receive products/items and place where they go
Clean equipment and place in racks for use
Identify and correct safety hazards within warehouse
Monthly safety walk-thru checking fire bottles and First Aid kits
Perform upkeep and repairs on equipment – identify parts needed
Ensure trash is removed to dumpster before trash days (M and Th)
Laundry for shop as well as customers
Content cleaning/Materials/Dry Cleaning/etc
Pick-up/Deliver equipment as needed
Qualifications:
Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures and inventory control
Mechanical Abilities
Forklift Experience
Valid Driver's License
Trailer pulling experience
People skills
Proficient computer skills
Water/Fire Restoration Experience Preferred but not mandatory
